On an Old Street block surrounded by dozens of restaurants, there is one major thing that immediately sets apart-- the long queue of fifteen or more customers waiting outside. As a small restaurant chain with only two locations , has achieved its popularity by serving a simple yet eclectic menu of fresh soups, breakfast items, salads, and other unique and healthy snacks that customers love.

's soup menu frequently changes, but when I stopped in they were serving a selection that included Creamy Mushroom, Jammin' Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Sri Lankan Coconut & Cauliflower, and others that represented tastes and specialities from all over the world. They were also serving two of their seasonal Halloween special soups, Cream of Pumpkin and Pumpkin Risotto, which were especially popular.

The employees are very efficient in handling the lunch time rush, quickly taking orders and keeping the queue moving. They also provide the additional service of soup samples, allowing customers to try a taste of what is available before making their decision of what to buy.

In the end, the deliciously well-made soups are worth the short wait. 's local popularity seems to speak for itself, as this small family-owned business seems to have a large following of loyal customers frequently coming back for more. is open from 7 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday and is closed on the weekends.
