The authentic taste of Indonesia - you probably think you would need to search a little for this. Well, I can tell you, you don't need to at all - in fact, it couldn't be easier to find...

Head along Shaftesbury Avenue towards Piccadilly Circus and with its bright red signage, you won't be able to miss Nusa Dua .

Once inside you will find a restaurant that delights with its comfortable seats, friendly staff and delicious food.

The menu is quite small, but deliberately so, focusing on quality over quantity, and authenticity over everything else. There is delightful Mie Goreng, delicious Rendang beef and Nasi Goreng Komplit, if you fancy something a bit special.

As they not only use fresh ingredients from Soho markets, but import special spices directly from Indonesia too, it is possible to have something as authentic to the Indonesian experience as if you were there yourself.

Now I've found over my time reviewing that special places often have an even more special side to them - and Nusa Dua doesn't disappoint here either. Should you enquire about the basement, you may be surprised to find that there are karaoke rooms available for your enjoyment.

If that isn't enough to get you excited for your visit, I guess this will prove to be the clincher - it is also very, very reasonably priced. No over-bloated prices here, but sensible costs for delicious food. Once you've eaten, you will probably feel a little heavier, but your wallet won't feel unnecessarily light - now isn't that a good thing.
