Tosca cake and lots of other goodies

The Nordic Bakery is a small café in Golden square. It is an out of the way place but well worth a visit. It produces excellent sandwiches, ranging from gravalax to cheese and pickle, as well as great coffee.

But for me, the cake, specifically the Tosca cake, is the real treat. Full of butter, sugar and almonds, the cake is soft as a whole, with a glazed almond topping. It is a great addition to parties or birthdays.

The Nordic bakery also produce a cookbook, so if you don't have the time to trek into London, then you can try creating the culinary delights of the Nordic Bakery in your very own kitchen!.
