A true Scandinavian cafe experience

You have to admit, there's something very cool about Scandinavia. Everything in Northern Europe tends to feel fresh, alive - and none more so than in Norway. It is true that Oslo, Norway's capital, just happens to be one of the most expensive cities on this whole planet, but it also provides some of the most delicious natural food too.

You can experience this too, without having to go all the way up North - in fact, all you need to do is head into Central London, and Golden Square in particular (though there are two other locations you could go to in London also).

Here's why you should go there - it has simple but delicious Nordic pastries, with everything based on traditional recipes. You can enjoy such delights as cinnamon buns, blueberry buns (which are delicious by the way), and of course such traditional foodstuffs as Gravadlax (a kind of open sandwich composed of cured salmon and cucumber on rye bread).

Another thing of note is the decor. The Nordic people know how to make homely, cosy environments - and the same is absolutely true here. There is lots of darkly stained wood panelling on the walls - coupled with simple, sleek tables and chairs, making for a relaxing eating experience. It is probably of no surprise to find that the designers of the furniture inside the three locations also happen to be Nordic too...

Should you only fancy a coffee, well that is a possibility, and a nice cup it is too - however, should you want to stay authentic, why not try a blueberry juice, made with natural blueberries.

You may just end up leaving this place feeling more relaxed, a little bit happier, and carrying one of the cookbooks you couldn't resist buying on the way through the door...
