The little green festival is back! Held over two days, Newcastle Community Green Fest is dubbed the 'mini Glastonbury' of the North. Friday night is for revellers, and Saturday is for rolling out the picnic blankets and relaxing with family.
The festival is organised by a Community Interest Company, which is open to anyone who wants to help bring the annual festival to life. Decisions about the festival are made by the whole group, which keeps the festival diverse and fresh. Attendees can expect a colourful array of stalls offering food, drinks, goods and information, and plenty of musicians and other performers on show throughout the days.
