So it's not even Christmas but you may already be thinking about how to spend New Years Eve. Manchester is known for its vibrant night life so you will be spoilt for choice, although it is a good idea to plan early as many events, like the ones listed, need tickets. It's time to start thinking about the best ways to bring in the New Year in the city centre to make sure you get in and enjoy the best NYE events Manchester has to offer.
Here are five of the best places to party on the 31st of December to welcome in 2018:
1). Refuge
Bring in 2018 at the Come As You Are event in Refuge. The night will be packed with some of the best DJ's and artists. With events taking place in the public bar and in the basement you will be spoilt for choice. With a disco house party and a range of music there is something to suit all musical tastes. This is a beautiful location in the city, what better way to spend the last hours of 2017.

2). The Oast House
As one of Spinningfield's finest locations this is the place to enjoy a fabulous New Years Eve. It is also the last event before the business closes for refurbishment, so this is your last chance to enjoy this great location for three months. With three locations in one (The Oast House, the Curious Teepee and The Courtyard) this is the perfect place to spend the whole evening without feeling the need to bar hop and find somewhere new. There will be music from a band and a DJ. There will also be free face and body glitter painting, so you can add some sparkle to the evening.

3). The Fitzgerald
Step back in time and party like it's the 20's at the speakeasy on Stevenson Square. Grab your best 20's outfit and enjoy some jazz, a silent cinema and amazing cocktails. As one of the best bars in the Northern Quarter you won't regret spending your New Years Eve here. Your ticket includes a glass of prosecco on arrival, you can also book a booth which is recommended as this is a small venue.

4). Fairfield NYE House Party
If you fancy a more relaxed New Years Eve party you might want to visit the Fairfield Social Club. Now the home of Grub Manchester a street food venue this party is one for the food lovers. There will be delicious delights to try from Wholesome Junkies and Pastrami Now amongst others and beer from businesses including Runaway, Squawk and Atom. With tickets including a £5 food voucher, a drink and a tip for the bar team your evening is covered for the price of a ticket.

5). Revolucion De Cuba
Why not celebrate the New Year Cuban style. This fiesta party includes live entertainment including dance acts and a brass band. Make sure to book early to avoid disappointment as this is set to be a popular event.
