It is looking unlikely that we will have a white Christmas, but you can ensure a white New Year if you go to The Mansion's New Year's Eve Party .

The Mansion is London's first and only 'night house', which is designed to bring friends together for a fun time at the grandest and most secret locations. All their parties include music, art, performers, and a special colour theme. As you have probably guessed, the theme colour for the New Year is white. It is based on the story of Ludmilla, a young actress from Solbjerg. In 1859, she met 'The Baron', while performing in Copenhagen. Ludmilla fell in love with him and followed him around the world.

One night they were at a New Year Mansion party in London, and everyone was beguiled by her beautiful white dress. During the party, Ludmilla mysteriously disappeared and was never heard of again. She appears at the Mansion every 1st January. With this year's party starting from 9pm on the 31st December, and lasting till 5am, will you catch a glimpse of Ludmilla?

The party has a strict 'white-only' dress code, and the best costume will win a prize. Early birds can buy tickets for £25, while late birds have to pay £30.

Music includes Kelly Wood and her live band, resident DJs the StarRockers and M. Squad, and Australian guitarist, Daniel Amalm. Silhouette artists will also be there to cut out your profile, and a magnificent fire show will light up 2014.
