, with its unassuming facade and quaint interior looks like just another Mexican bistro-come-bar, yet this couldn't be further from the truth. With chilled music, such as Metronomy and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, pulsing from the speakers, and the bar men launching and twizzling their cocktail mixers, this is a venue that will instantly tantalise.

Set in the heart of Call Lane, Leeds' bar hub, it is easy to overlook this little gem, but once inside the cocktails ensure you will never look back. Averaging £6.50 a cocktail, this is by no means a cheap destination, although it is average for the bars on Call Lane.

Drinks
We started with a rather generous sized Mai Tai, equipped with Inca style glasses, lashings of rum, Cointreau and lime, this is a great start point for any night out; alcoholic to the extreme but delicious all in one.

And how can you overlook their Strawberry Daiquiri?! Fresh and fruity, this rum number is packed full of strawberry puree, and yet is deadly; with no taste of alcohol in sight and being truly delicious be warned they are drunk before you know it.

[ADVERT]Yet the winner by far was their sharer Colado Nueva. At £12 to share this may seem steep but the quantity and quality speaks for itself. Arriving in a beautiful mosaic cauldron, this drink was instantly a favourite. A Mexican take on the common daiquiri, this number is full to the brim with 3 types of rum, including the traditional Venezuelan rum, Santa Teresa Gran Reserva, as well as lashings of passionfruit, mango, and coconut, this cocktail was one of the best I have ever tasted.

Whilst could never be called cheap, the little touches of the themed, beautiful glasses and the delicious cocktails ensure you will want to return again and again.

With its handy city centre location, within striking distance of other highlights such as Call Lane Social, bars such as Distrikt, and the club Hifi, this is a bar worth starting every night off at. Yet don't think that this place is only amazing for drinks. Well into the evening serves traditional Mexican food with a twist such as fish tacos. You can access their menu here .

A day time trip is next on my list of things to do in Leeds, make it yours.
