**Experience a magical winter haven in the heart of the city (31st October - 10th November)
**

The temperature drops, the fairly lights go up, and the foundations go down for the 2013 . Only a few weeks to go until it opens.

Opening on the spookiest day of the year, skaters are invited to take to the ice in Halloween costumes (safety first though kids!) to celebrate the launch of the first ice rink of the season. The 1,000-square-metre rink is set within the beautiful surroundings of the iconic South Kensington Museum beneath 76,000 twinkling fairy lights.

There are plenty of stalls to buy festive gifts, food and drink from, suitable for after work fun, couples and families alike. There is also an open-air balcony overlooking the ice rink where you can enjoy a cosy hot chocolate. Not Skating? There is even a fairground carousel.

The rink caters for both beginner and advanced skaters with a junior rink for younger skaters. And to top it off from the 7th November (alternate Thursdays) you can enjoy Acoustic nights in the Cafe bar, with some of the finest of London's unsigned musicians (free to attend).

Ticket prices to skate start from £8. (Booking and transaction fees also apply)
