Make your own wreath or table decoration using festive foliage in our spectacular Victorian Chapter Hall. Learn about the symbolism of traditional 'festive' plants and the folklore and superstitions around decorating the home. All materials and a festive drink are included with your ticket.

The Chapter Hall at St John's Gate was designed by architect John Oldrid Scott and opened in 1903. The heraldic stained glass, carved stone, and wood paneling will transport you back to the sixteenth century, a magnificent and atmospheric setting for this festive workshop. Many of the natural materials will be harvested from the Museum's own garden.
