The leading arts organisation in the world for young people, the National Youth Theatre was established in 1956. With the aim of inspiring, training, and showcasing performers aged 14 - 25, they are currently running three productions at The Ambassadors Theatre , with tickets costing £19.50.

Macbeth
Until 26th November

Director, Ed Hughes, puts a unique twist on Shakespeare's dark tragedy by setting it to the backdrop of World War One. Something wicked this way comes as Macbeth finds himself behind enemy lines.

Private Peaceful
Until 28th November

Based on the the best selling novel by Michael Morpurgo, Private Peaceful, the young Tommo recollects his happy childhood days, falling in love with his best friend, and the injustice of war.

Selfie
Until 26th November

Selfie is a radical retelling of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Grey. Set in present day, this new premiering production tackles Wilde's themes of deception, vanity, and self-obsession by utilising modern technology.
