I discovered, thanks to a friend's recommendation, that Nation of Shopkeepers is a great stop for lazy afternoons where you can't quite decide what to do. Whether you want to stop by for a cup of tea, chat with friends or treat yourself to a filling meal, this cafe, bar and restaurant is worth a visit.



On Tuesdays, all burgers are two-for-one, so grab your friends and enjoy the best burgers in Leeds (I'm not joking). The range of burgers are very diverse, so much so that to die-hard carnivore like me, even the vegetarian options looked incredibly appealing.



The crockery and mugs are mis-matched, the decor resembles a messy collage and strange art-house films are projected onto the wall. While this may put some people off, I find that this gives Nation of Shopkeepers a very friendly and non-conformist appearance.

Also, look out for pub quizzes and gigs on the website.
