Farewell tour by stars of hit TV show
After running for seven years on television country music drama Nashville is coming to an end. The final season will be screened next year and some of the stars are heading to the UK for one final concert tour.
Farewell: Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio, Chris Carmack, Charles Esten and Clare Bowen
Nashville In Concert: The Farewell Tour begins at Birmingham's Genting Arena on April 14, 2018, and concludes at London's O2 on April 21.
Steve Buchanan, president of co-producers Opry Entertainment, said: "The cast of Nashville have become tremendous ambassadors and representatives of a city that they now love. They carry with them the spirit of the city and its music. The 2018 UK Tour will be bittersweet for our cast of amazing actors, singers and songwriters as they share the stage together for one last farewell to the fans."

Speaking about the TV series coming to an end, Kevin Beggs, chairman of co-producers Lionsgate, said: "We believe that creatively it is time for the series to come to its triumphant close at the end of the upcoming season. We owe a special debt of thanks to the Nashville fans who propelled the series to an incredible run. We owe it to them to make the sixth season the most exciting and memorable of all."
As on the previous tours, the concerts will feature songs from the series as well as artists' original material. There will be solo slots, duets and group songs, with contributions from all five stars and the Nashville band.
