In the lanes of Brighton, me and my partner stumbled upon this tiny looking coffee shop. As we were unfortunate enough to be in Brighton when it was snowing, we didn't hesitate to enter!
I'm glad we did. The coffee is very good, and there are lots of home-made cakes and sausage rolls etc. Considering they were stuck at work in a mini-blizzard, the staff were cheery and polite.
Now as I said, this place looked tiny, and downstairs it certainly isn't a palace, but upstairs are 70 seats so it's clearly very popular.
The decor is nice and it was very satisfying to be in the warmth with hot drinks and some pastries, watching people battle with the snow outside.
Would definitely recommend you pop in if you're ever in Brighton. You pay no more than you would in large coffee chains and it's much more personal and cosy here too.
