Offering a wide selection of Dutch "pancakes", or crepes bigger than your head, is a delicious way to celebrate Dutch culture right here in London.

Mondays are the day to try this delightfully doughy eatery, as most pancakes are reduced to just five pounds to brighten our least favourite day of the week. This is quite a bargain considering that many of the treats normally go for upwards of ten pounds.

My Old Dutch divides its extremely large crepes into two categories: sweet and savoury. The savoury pancakes are quite filling and range from seafood to chili con carne. There's even one of my personal favourites: the chicken curry pancake. Customers with a sweet tooth can opt for the sweet pancakes, which make for a scrumptious, rich dessert. My favourite is the apple cinnamon pancake, which comes with your choice of ice cream or whipped cream.

The queue for dinner can get quite long, particularly around 7pm, so aim to arrive before 6:30 or after 8. It is also possible to ring and book a table in advance.

My Old Dutch has three locations: Kensington, Chelsea and Holburn. If you're looking to start off your week on a tasty note, check out the pancake house nearest you.
