After prolonged ill health, the playwright, Kevin Elyot died at the age of 62 in June. Two months on, the Donmar Warehouse presents his most notable play, My Night With Reg (1994), which runs until the 27th September. Set during the height of the AIDs crisis, it tells a story about circle of gay friends over the the course of several years.

Although Reg is the title character, he remains absent for the play's entirety. He is the main topic of conversation amongst the friends, each of whom in turn share their experiences with this mysteriously elusive individual. Funny, yet tragic, was directed by Robert Hastie, and stars Jonathan Broadbent as Guy, Geoffrey Streatfield as Daniel, and Julian Ovenden as John. Seats are between 10 - 30, but you can also get standings tickets for 7.50.
