The show will feature well-loved contemporary songs you can sing along to, as well as some great tunes from the Big Band era and a few lively latin numbers.
The tunes kick off at 8.00pm, for a two hour show of popular music with the Big Band. Tickets for the show are £10 for adults and £8 for concession. Tickets can be purchased online from the Hanger Farm Arts Centre website, or by calling the box office on 023 8066 7683.
Pops Incorporated is a Pops orchestra styled after the Boston Pops Orchestra. The 'Pops' is a reference to the fact that unlike a symphony or philharmonic orchestra, the orchestra plays popular music. Pops Incorporated play songs from across multiple eras and genres, earlier in January they performed a show at Thornden Concert Hall dedicated entirely to music from films. Music, Music, Music will feature well known popular music, but it also features the 20 piece Big Band. With the Big Band, they'll be playing songs from the Big Band era, think songs from the early to mid-1900s featuring plenty of saxophones, trumpets and trombones joined by a lively rhythm section, but the Big Band will also be around for some more contemporary songs and a bit of Latin. Vocals are performed by Georgie and Liz.
