It's Mother's Day on Sunday 11th March and if you've got wriggly kids, then an afternoon tea is unlikely to be a pleasurable treat. Fear not, there are some great places to visit around Oxfordshire that have special offers where Mum goes free.

Beale Park is a fun day out with plenty to keep the kids occupied with great playparks and a wide range of animals. Mum goes free with a paying child on Sunday 11th March.

Lambing season is now in full swing, so why not try a day out at Roves Farm , where you can get up and close to the lambs, enjoy a tasty meal from the café and tootle along on a tractor ride.

The Cotswold Farm park is similar to Roves Farm and also has lots of lambs. They're running their Mum goes free offer on both the 10th and 11th March.


For a more subdued and pleasant experience, enjoy a wander around Batsford Arboreutum with all the spring bulbs now showing through.
