Mum 2 Mum Market is a unique type of community market where mums (or dads) can sell their preloved goods to other parents. It's an opportunity for parents to sell off clothes their children have outgrown or toys they no longer play with, but it's also an opportunity to pick up some bargains without having to deal with the hassles of Facebook and other pre-loved sale sites.

If you have things to sell
To get a stall at a Mum 2 Mum market you can sign up online. Stalls are between £20 and £25. You'll be provided with a trestle table and space to display a large item or a clothes-rail. The Mum 2 Mum team provide tips about what sells well, and how to present your stall to maximise sales. You can read through the FAQ on their website, but they'll also send out tips for stall holders 2 weeks before the market.
You can bring along any items suitable for babies and children 0-6 years of age. You can also bring along products useful for pregnancy. Items must be good condition, so make sure you don't bring along anything that's stained, torn or otherwise damaged.
Have a good browse of the website before booking your stall and coming along, as there's plenty of information to prepare you for the day.
If you're just interested in browsing or buying, then entry to the market is £2 per person, with entry for children free. Sign up online in advance and you'll get 2-for-1 entry for you and a friend.
You can expect to find a range of different products at the market, from children's clothing, to prams, to nursery furniture and toys. All items sold must be in a good condition, so you'll be getting nearly new products at reduced prices. It's especially good for first time parents who don't already have closets and toy-boxes filled with hand-me-downs.
