The New Year is nearly upon us and this is the last chance to plan how you will celebrate. Manchester is full of great events this year, so you have plenty of great options to bring in 2018!



MTV Base is throwing a New Year's Eve party set to be bigger and better than last year's sell-out event. This is a truly epic way to spend New Year's Eve at what is set to be one of the biggest parties in the city. Running from 10pm-4pm, you can dance your way into New Year's Day.

Come along and dance the night away at the O2 Ritz - one of the best music venues in the city. The live music club on Whitworth Street, just near Oxford Road train station, is a historical treasure in Manchester built in 1927. It is known for the springy dance floor which you can enjoy on New Year's Eve. Hosting the event is Charlie Sloth one of the best DJ's in Europe. This is one night not to be missed as the best music from hip-hop and pop songs will be played all night. But that's not all! There is a list of artists joining the popular DJ making it a line up you will love. Although you'll have to go along to see who is coming along as the special guests are being kept a closely guarded secret. There will, however, be music sets from DJ's Andy Purnell and DJ Chuckie.

Last entry is at 1am, so make sure you get there before 2018 starts, so you can truly enjoy all the great artists at the Ritz. The final tickets are selling fast so make sure you get hold of one of the final release tickets costing £22.80 or a VIP Balcony ticket for £39.30. VIP tickets allow access to a private bar and table areas. Other standard tickets are already sold out, so be quick if you want to secure your New Year's Eve plans. This event is strictly 18 and over and ID will be required at the door.
