Summertime means music festival time in the UK. They became very popular in the 60's with the first Isle of Wight famous gathering and nowadays there are thousand of great music live events spread all over the country. One of them is the exceptional Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul Festival held in the gorgeous Moseley village, in Birmingham.
I got the ticket delivered by post a couple of weeks ago and I'm getting ready to check some legendary names of soul such as Chic (feat. Nile Rodgers) and Soul II Soul.
Held in the beautiful Moseley park, the festival counts on the support of the local community, already used to getting involved with cultural and independent events in Moseley village itself since its first edition in 2010.
Moseley is a vibrant area nearby the city centre of Birmingham filled with great pubs, bars and independent cafes where locals and visitors can gather before, during or after the festival.
With no doubt it's a perfect opportunity to enjoy stunning scenery, some drinks, amazing performances, and the nice vibe that makes Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul Festival one of the most important music events in Birmingham.
