Festival season is nearly over and one of the best local events is happening in two weeks.
Moseley Folk Festival will be returning to Moseley Park on August 31 & September 1 and 2.
A bit off genre post-punk band Echo & The Bunnymen will headline the opening night and are joined by Guillemots, Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves of Destiny, The Destroyers and Dark Dark Dark who will headline the Lunar Stage.
The Saturday will be headlined by longstanding folk singer Roy Harper. Indie folker Jonathan Wilson, Julian Cope, Goodnight Lenin, Devon Sproule and others join him on the bill.
On the last day Simon Fowler's new project Merrymouth, Jackie Oates, Destroyers front man Paul Murphy, Spiro, Emily Portman Trio, The Long Notes and folk legends Steeleye Span bring this year's festival to a close.
Tickets for the festival cost between £28.50 for a single ticket and £168 for a family ticket and are available online.
This years Official Aftershow Party will be headlined by Treetop Flyers at Hare & Hounds on Saturday and will be exclusive to festival ticket holders only.
