%%Fowler: Increase velocity!
Babs: What does that mean?
Bunty: It means pedal your flipping giblets out! %%

Anyone who has seen Chicken Run will remember this scene with great fondness as the chickens pedaled their way to freedom. They may have been riding a plane, but the sentiment is still the same. It is time to get pedalling.

On the 10th and 11th May 2013 Moonriders wants you to join them on a 100km bike ride from London to Cambridge.

As the name suggests, Moonriders travel by night. The charity cycling event will kick off at midnight, where you will follow classic cycle routes starting from North London, travelling into the Hertfordshire countryside, and ending up in Cambridgeshire as the sun starts to rise. No traffic, no delays, just space and beautiful nightscape views.

You can ride at your own pace by yourself or with family and friends as you raise money for the Hunger Project . It costs £49 to register and are requested to raise a minimum of £300.

There will be snack stops and a halfway hot meal pitstop to keep you going, and upon reaching the finishing line, you can enjoy a breakfast celebration.
