Moon Palace: Relaxed Daytime Observation Session at Royal Armouries

This session is for learning-disabled and autistic individuals, along with their families and friends. It offers on-board facilities and a staffed chill-out room. More details will be available from September 22nd, and you can contact [email protected] for questions.

Visit the Royal Armouries for a day-time observation session, combining solar and radio astronomy. Talk with Artist and Scientist hosts, browse the on-board library, and enjoy 'cosmic' tea. Moon Palace, an art-inspired mobile observatory, celebrates the legacy of John Smeaton and is on tour from August to December. Please note it's a drop-in experience with limited capacity.

As part of the experience, you'll be asked to wear slippers, but you can bring your own if you prefer. Moon Palace is part of Smeaton300, celebrating John Smeaton, a Leeds-born civil engineering pioneer, through various events in the city.
