Fancy a tour of London? What kind? There's plenty to choose from: walking tours, bus tours, boat tours. Boat tours, now there's an interesting one. What kind of boat would you like? Clipper, canoe, kayak. Yes, I did say canoe and kayak. And not just any kind either. Spotty bovine ones.
Moo Canoes is the first canoe hire provider in London, and they offer fun tours along the River Thames starting from £30. You will learn to paddle either a canoe or kayak, while at the same time, taking in all the sites and historic landmarks. There are two tours to choose from:
The Greenwich Meal Time Tour
28th July, 11th & 25th August
You will start from their base in Limehouse, then paddle through Canary Wharf, and the London docklands, before stopping off at Greenwich for lunch.
London Cruise
14th August
Take a classic route, seeing all the famous landmarks as you travel from Limehouse to London Bridge. You'll then have lunch at London's oldest riverside pub before making the return trip.
The tours are designed for sixteen and overs and you can hire either a two or four-manned boat.
