When you break into Moka's warm pecan pie, you are hit with the glorious smell of caramelised nuts. The pie is just the right level of sweetness, and comes with a hefty scoop of vanilla ice cream. I usually don't like hot and cold food served together, but here, it really works.
The only thing I would say is that the ice cream scoop is too big, and overwhelms the flavours of the pecans. If the ice cream was was a bit smaller, and the pie slightly larger, this dessert would be perfect.
