Are you brave enough to enter the Unicorn Theatre? It may sound like a place of happy fantasy, but right now there is a gruesome performance that won't end until the 28th April. Mister Holdago is a strange tale that seems something of a cross between The Tiger That Came to Tea, and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. Tickets to the show are £16 for adults, £13 concessions, and £10 for under 21s.
When Conrad discovers a tiger living on top of his wardrobe, his parents don't believe him (particularly the part bout it liking champagne truffles). But it turns out the tiger is the least of Conrad's troubles when a mysterious stranger comes knocking at the door. Who is this Mister Holgado, and what is he doing at Conrad's house?
If the play isn't creepy enough, then after the 2 o'clock performance on the 21st April there will be a free Mini Bug Mayhem class, in which you will learn all about beetles. Then on the 27th April, the author, Christopher William Hill, will give a post show talk.
