Living, working and writing in the rainy city of Manchester.
Get the whole family crafting and make something amazing
Bring the whole family along to the maker space and see what amazing things you can create. This event will make your weekend more fun and a little bit crafty, don't miss out on this popular arts and craft day.
After the success of craft clubs in Manchester libraries over Christmas another date has been set for a fun crafting day at Hulme Library in January. Perfect for the whole family to come along and enjoy the day, this is a great event for taking part in some arts and crafts. Don't miss out on the fun this month.
Taking place on Saturday 27th January at 2.30pm until 4pm, the day will be a fun and free. Manchester Libraries are always putting on free events to help parents keep their children entertained. This is perfect if you are on a budget and are looking for family-friendly activities to take part in at the weekend.
Maker Spaces are areas designed to let people work on different activities with a dedicated area to work in. Hulme Library has great areas where people can work and play. The mini-maker space will have everything you need to craft, colour, draw and paint. This is something different to do and young children will love the chance to make things and use their imagination to create works of art. Why not get away from computer games and TV shows and join the other makers. This is also a great opportunity for children to make new friends. If you are new to the area or don't know many locals, these library events are perfect for families to socialise and meet other people in the area.
This event takes place at Hulme Library, underground parking is available for those coming from further afield. The library is also near to lots of high street shops and cafes for you to enjoy whilst in the area. Why not make a day of it and take the family out to Hulme - get away from the city centre and do something different.
This is set to be a great crafty day for all the family to enjoy, these sessions were popular over the Christmas holidays, so don't miss out and come along on 27th January.
