There is more to Columbia Road than just the Flower Market.

This might sound a little strong to some of you, but it is not meant to be derogatory to the Market itself - indeed Columbia Road Flower Market is one of the very best London markets you will find. The statement is actually to point out some of the amazing shops and bars which are not part of the market itself, and so may get overlooked. I have previously pointed out the amazingly named bar/ bottle shop Fox's Knocker ; now it is time for the equally glorious , one of the best Mexican stores you will find in London.

The reason why it is a place well worthy of your attention is that all of the products they sell, which includes handmade Mexican tiles, laundry baskets, recycled glassware, and folk art, are all imported directly from artists and creators in Mexico. The focus is on handmade quality, and this is evident when you look at the goods on offer.

It is the amazing folk art that will attract you the most - with images ranging from the fantastic to the realistic; from Day of the Dead figures, to religious images, all in the vivid colours which which make them so well known.

This amazing range of colour and pattern extends to their tiles too. Available in a mind-blowing range of styles and finishes, whether you are looking for a little bit of inspiration for decorating your home, or simply to add a bit of colour to your life, there is something here for you too.
