Battersea in South London is home to a very popular Vietnamese restaurant called Mien Tay. Here you will find their Signature Chargrilled Quail w honey, garlic and spices.
Presented elegantly on the plate, the quail is barbecued to perfection and served with a side of salt and a fresh wedge of lime. Now, before you go ordering a tequila out of pure confusion, grab a quarter of the quail (easy as they are cut in quarters) and add a pinch of salt and a dash of lime, sink your teeth in and you will be pleasantly surprised.
The mixture of flavours from the salt and lime balance out the sweet grilled taste of the quail. Priced at £6 makes it a definite great starter to share on a double date.
