Michael Grandage is an award winning British theatre director and producer. For the last decade he has been the art director for the Donmar Warehouse theatre, but now he gone on to create his own production company. His aspiration is to reach out to as many people as possible by creating theatre that is affordable everyone. This season, Grandage is putting on five fabulous plays at the Noel Coward Theatre starting from just £10 a seat.

Written by Peter Nichols, this comedy features actor Simon Russell Beale as Captain Terri Dennis, a flamboyant cross-dresser, whose performances as Marlene Dietrich, Vera Lynn and Carmen Miranda stir lots of laughs next to the morbid World War Two setting, and the murderous Malaysian campaign.
