I'm a Mum of two boys living in Oxfordshire, enjoying lots of fun activities and writing about them when I get a chance.
Get crafty for Christmas

If you're feeling crafty and want to try your hand at something new, then come along to Exeter Hall in Kidlington on Thursday 29th November. "Merry Mastery" will host a range of free Christmas themed craft workshops where you can learn new skills.

10am to 12pm - Christmas cupcake decorating
10am to 12pm - Learn how to create Christmas wooden toys
2pm - 4pm - Christmas card making
2pm - 4pm - How to knit Christmas decorations

All the festive crafts will then be on sale, along with other locally made gifts at Exeter Hall the next day on 30th November.

The money raised from the "Merry Mastery" workshops will be put to good use supporting Oxfordshire Age UK. Over 640,000 people in the UK rely on home based care in their older age. Age UK are a charity who "supports all older people and their carers".

This is a great way to learn new skills and support a charity. If you'd like to buy unique creations as gifts but don't have fancy making them, then try some of the Christmas craft fairs around Oxfordshire.
