It's fair to say you can't miss this bar - as you can see from the pictures. In the area around Kings Cross, the Megaro Cocktail bar stands out not just from the quality of the cocktails on offer, but from the mural painted across the building itself.
There is something actually very clever about all that patterning around the building, as it helps connect the three elements that exist here - we have the aforementioned cocktail bar, but also an eatery, and a whole hotel too. You could say
Megaro has it all.
First, the
cocktails - a brilliant page on their website shows some of their finest cocktails, along with the stories behind what inspired them, and should be your first point of call when looking into what this amazing cocktail bar has to offer.
For food, again all bases are covered, from breakfast through to dinner. And what is on offer? There are burgers, cooked breakfasts and even steak for brunch - come dinner it is Italian-styled, British-sourced fayre.
Finally, around the corner you have the hotel, where the focus on a good nights sleep is accommodated in a range of styles, my favourite being the amazing looking Britpop concept room - definitely one you would want to write home about.
Then there is the location - ideally situated across the road from both Kings Cross and St Pancras, and within minutes of the very centre of London, everything London has to offer is on your doorstep - but with so much going on under one roof, why really would you even want to go outside?
