So, I couldn't resist when I was invited to have a girly dinner at the carnivore pit called MEATmarket.

A restaurant that is the final piece of the distinguished: MEATliquor, MEATmission and MEATwagon puzzle.

If you haven't been to one of these establishments, then you are truly missing out on glorified fast food at its best. With a simple caloric-nightmare menu and an adopted dessert selection (Reese's Buttercup Sundae to-die-for) from their sister store, what is not to love.

The burgers at MEATmarket are good. A juicy, juicy, juicy patty cooked to perfection (medium-rare is great) topped with grilled onions and cheddar cheese that literally salivates over the meat, is a must for all Londoners.

MEATmarket, like the others in the MEAT chain, do not let you book ahead of time, instead, you must get there with your crew and either wait in the line, or hope to god that people are eating at a hare's pace so you will not have to wait for long.

I am still to try all the burgers in the menu and of course the hot-dog, which looks equally as appealing as its burger partner. I opted on this occasion for the Black Palace. A good choice I must say. You can't go wrong with two beef patties, cheese, pickles, grilled onions, mustard and ketchup. Yum.

I teamed this with some fries, bingo wings and a chocolate thick shake and it was pure music to my mouth. Do yourself a favour and head over to the MEAT chain, you won't be disappointed. Just in case you didn't want someone seeing you choffing down on a burger you can opt for the take away menu and continue the chomp in the privacy of your home.
