Former Wet Wet Wet singer
Marti Pellow is preparing for a solo greatest hits tour that includes a show at Birmingham
Symphony Hall on November 28, 2021. The initial run of UK dates in November will be followed by more shows in April and May, 2022.
The tour will celebrate Marti's career which has included two stints with
Wet Wet Wet (with whom he sold 15 million records), successful musical theatre productions, a jazz album, a collection of classic love songs, a record influenced by American country and soul and a 2021 long player,
Stargazer.
The dates are a great chance for Marti's legions of fans to once again experience their hero live in concert. Until now, they have had to be satisfied with Marti online in his 'Lockdown Sessions', filmed in his home studio throughout the first lockdown and enjoyed by over 12 million fans.
Marti's message to them is: "
I'm looking forward to singing for you all... it's fair to say we all deserve a good night out. I think these shows are about entertaining, filling the room with songs you love, so the only thing I ask of you is to bring your smiles. Oh, and don't forget your dancing shoes! Let me take care of the rest!"
