Songstress Martha Tilston will be performing at The Arthouse Southampton on Thursday February 22nd at 7:30pm armed with her guitar and her alluring voice. The intimate space is the perfect spot to enjoy Martha's enchanting performance. Martha has recently finished her Green Moon Tour of the UK, promoting the release of her latest album - Nomad .



Martha Tilston has played solo shows and festivals all over the UK and the world. She began performing at the Small World stage soon after leaving college, where she started to develop a following. Her voice and melodies are fresh and modern while capturing an element of the folk songs of old. Her music seems best suited to small fairylight-lit stages or secluded secret forest shows. As well as a captivating voice and soulful melodies, Martha is also engaging and personable up on stage, proving she is both a musician and an entertainer.

The Art House show is part of their Gigs in the Gallery series . These are shows designed to highlight newcomers to the music scene, underground favourites, and fringe and grassroots performers. The programme is tailored by the Art House's director, Paul Bickmore, who scours the country for acts that fit the Art House's niche. As well as a live music venue the Art House Southampton is also a cafe and a gallery , as well as hosting numerous other community minded events throughout the year.

Tickets are £19.80 if booked in advance or £26.50 if booked on the day, additional fees do apply. Tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite or by calling the venue on 023 8023 8582.

The Art House Southampton is located at 178 Above Bar Street, Southampton. Parking nearby can be tricky, but a recommended spot is at the Kings Park Road car park or you can find other nearby car parking spaces on this map .
