[SECTION]Abseiling[/SECTION]



Whoever said the hard part was going up, clearly hadn't gone down yet. Even with a safety rope, climbing down a mountain is sure to get the heart pumping. This year there are three Abseiling events taking place in the UK & Ireland.

Scrabo Tower, Newtownards
23rd March 2013, 9am-5pm

Standing at 125ft tall, you will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding area including Ards Penninsula, Belfast and as far as the Mournes. You can register for £10 and are required to raise £55 sponsorship.

Meldon Viaduct, Devon
24th March 2013, 9am - 4pm

Abseil more than 100 feet down one of Devon's most historic sites. Providing stunning views of the valley, Meldon Viaduct is high up on Dartmoor, with its Victorian era bridge giving a great challenge and a superb abseil experience. You can register for £10 and are required to raise £100 sponsorship.

Portrush Cliffs, Raymore Head
21st September 2013 9am - 5pm

With a breathtaking view of Northern Ireland and the North Atlantic, Portrush Cliffs will not only be challenge downward, but upward too, as you journey back up. You can register for £10 and are required to raise £55 sponsorship.

[SECTION]Ladies Driving Challenge[/SECTION]



Don't listen to what they say about women drivers. This is no test on how to parallel park. Get behind the wheel of some of the meanest motors on the road, from fire engines to double-decker buses, and monster motors to tractors.

RAF Portreath, Cornwall
15th September, 10am-6pm

Take a drive down the runway in skid cars, monster trucks, and double deckers. You can register for £10 and are required to raise £100 sponsorship.

Bovington Army Camp, Dorset
22nd September, 10am-6pm

Bovington Army Camp is used for military tank training, making it ideal for an adrenaline-packed day out. In the forest, you'll get the chance to drive WW2 jeeps. You can register for £10 and are required to raise £100 sponsorship.

RNAS Merryfield, Somerset
28th September, 10am-6pm

Get driving lessons from Somerset Police and the chance to drive tractors and combine-harvesters. You can register for £10 and are required to raise £100 sponsorship.

[SECTION]Parachuting[/SECTION]



For the ultimate adrenaline rush, you can't get any more extreme than parachuting. There will be twenty drop off zones and you are required a £400 sponsorship. To sign up, contact The London Parachute School .

[SECTION]Skinny Dipping[/SECTION]



Live on the wild side and bare all this summer in the skinny dipping world record attempt. In 2011 more than 400 people plunged into the cold sea in South Wales, setting a new Guinness World Record for the world's biggest skinny dip and raising more than £40,000 for Marie Curie. Marie Curie plan to do even better this year, with the attempt being held in four locations on the 2nd June: Wales, Dorset, Essex, and East Lothian. You can register for £15 and require to raise £85 in sponsorship.
