Most of my reviews are aimed at busy students, and Mangal take-away cafe is a brilliant place for those rushing to and from lectures with little time to stop and eat.


is situated in a perfect location opposite the University of Leeds, so is the perfect go-to place for those days where you just don't seem to have enough time. Despite the range of freshly made sandwiches, I opted for something different in the form of a homemade bruschetta pizza.

Mangal also offer a very reasonable meal deal too, which is worth considering if you're on a budget. They offer a sandwich, drinks can and snack for between £3-£4. The staff are also wonderfully friendly, and were happy to let me browse their selection of foods and take my time. Student or not, this takeaway cafe is well worth a visit.
