Restaurant Quality on the Street

Turn your spring into a hot one, and come and taste Malaysia by the Thames on the 3rd & 4th May. Organised by Malaysia Kitchen, the collective runs over ninety restaurants across the UK, and twelve of them will be hosting a market for foodies on the South Bank. Bringing you authentic cuisine from their kitchens, it will be restaurant quality, but with a lively street atmosphere that includes live performances from singer, Bonnie Freechyld and her band.

Malaysia is is divided into thirteen states and three federal territories, each offering a different types of culinary delights. Which is your favourite? Beef Rendang, Chicken Satay, Laksa, Nasi Goreng, Char Kway Teow, or Nasi Lemak? Take your pick of one or all.

Once you have a taste for Malaysian cuisine, you might fancy preparing some of your own dishes at home, and the market will be selling lots of ingredients to help you do just that.
