Usually my grandpa has cod when he goes to the Mae Ping Thai restaurant in Wimbledon, but last night he opted for something different. He chose a green curry for £7.95, which has the option of either beef or chicken. As my dad was getting a beef dish, he chose the chicken, which was my preference as well.
Despite this, it was Dad who lauded this medium hot dish the most. Chicken is not a particular favourite of his, but he could not get enough of the green gravy sauce. You would think that the sauce was just the accompaniment used to moisten the food, but it's not. 'The sauce is what makes a dish,' Dad said, and he's absolutely right.
