Served in what looks like a gravy dish, Mae Ping's spare ribs are part of a new tapas menu. It can be served as either a main or a starter, and costs £5.70. Marinated in barbecue sauce, there are about six pieces that were served between the four of us. While I found the sticky sauce a bit sickly, my dad was very partial to it, and even after the ribs were gone, tried to find something to dip in the remaining sauce.
The pork was very tender, and fell right off the bone - what little bone there was. Somehow I think Dad will be ordering these again.
