At £5.25, this starter of four sweetcorn cakes are also filled with peas and blended with red curry paste. Although they are described as fiery, the cakes themselves have hardly any heat from them. The only 'fire' you get it really from the tamarind chilli sauce, which although exceptionally delicious and moreish, was quite mild. Whether this is a good or bad thing is up to your personal taste, but I can't say that I was disappointed by the lacking 'kick'. I honestly couldn't get enough.
