This fun named dessert is a traditional steamed Thai banana cake served with ice cream. On the menu it says that it is served with honeycomb ice cream, but I asked for rum and raisin and they were happy to oblige.

The dessert is beautifully presented on a bed of clear honey, and accompanying fresh fruits. The orange that the ice cream sits on is really just for decoration because it is incredibly bitter.

Although the honey was meant to compliment the honeycomb ice cream, it went equally well with rum and raisin (and you could definitely tell that there was a good helping of rum in it).

Flavour-wise, the banana cake was nice, but I found it a bit too chewy. It was also difficult to break into because they only provide you with a spoon, when it really need a fork (and possibly a knife too).
