Mae Ping has five varieties of noodles to choose from. Usually we go for the Pad Thai Goong, which is stir-fried rice noodles with king prawns, egg and beansprouts, but on this visit, I wanted to try something different. We ordered the Singapore noodles for £5.95, which was a side dish with noodles tossed in coconut cream, light curry powder, and egg. The flavours went very well together, but I thought it tasted very dry. With all the sauces from our main meals, this was easily rectified, but I think next time I'll go back to our regular.
