Cappuccino Bombes are not something that need explaining; the mild coffee flavoured ice cream coated in chocolate is loved by all (sane) people around the world.

Mae Ping's version is exquisitely present on a beautiful glass dish, and served with sliced strawberries, kiwis, and orange.

The white chocolate shell is thick, and makes a satisfying crack when you tap the top with your spoon. Unlike some white chocolate, this is not overly sweet and, although it is covering a scoop of tasty italian style ice cream, when it melts in the mouth, it gives a warming sensation.
