Caryl Churchill's Love and Information explores our truly modern dilemma; we have access to more information than ever before and we are more interconnected than ever before, yet we can be so distant even when we're right in front of someone. Love and Information is being performed by the Nuffield Southampton Youth Theatre from 18 January till 20 January 2018. It is the first performance to be held at the NST's new City: Studio, at 144 Above Bar Street.
Love and Information is presented in a series of vignettes, with the cast playing more than 100 characters between them. Secrets and stories are shared as the characters meet, leave, love, live and die – all examining what it means to love in our information rich age, and even asking if we still can.
Love and Information was first performed at the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre, London in 2012. Since then it has been performed all over the world. This production is performed by the talented young people of the Nuffield Southampton Youth Theatre, a group of 13-21 Year olds who meet weekly throughout the year to expand their acting skills in addition to their rehearsals for major productions such as this.
All tickets are £14 and can be purchased from the NST website or by calling the box office on 023 8067 1771. Those who require wheelchair or disability bookings are requested to call the box office for availability.
