I am probably London's biggest carnivore and it takes a lot for a simple steak to impress me. But. Behold. London's best steak by a clear mile can be found at Hawksmoor restaurant. This is a bold claim by any stretch of the imagination and no doubt there is vast competition, especially on the streets of London.
Hawksmoor hosts its steakhouses on Air Street, Spitalfields, Seven Dials and Guidhall. Now I am yet to try them all but if the service and quality of produce in the Spitalfields restaurant is anything to go by, then you will surely not be disappointed.

Join in the meat-cult like atmosphere and enjoy a proper (what I call) MAN's breakfast, lunch or dinner! Hawksmoor clearly know their meat, it is fresh and honest but expensive. You can expect to pay £30 for your meal, and don't expect it to come all singing and dancing. If you want to splash out and order three courses with all the trimmings, you could easily get sucked in and spend extortionate amounts. However, for the more modest budgets, you can give Hawksmoor a go, and enjoy 2 courses for £26.
My next challenge is trying the all-you-can eat breakfast, no doubt it would be perfect after a late night at the cocktail bar!
