Olympic fever took the nation by storm, and now the Paralympics are proving that they too can fill stadiums and make you scream for your team till your voice is hoarse.
I had the pleasure of spending a morning at the aquatics centre, followed by a short seven hours strolling around the park, eating, listening to music, more eating and even more strolling. All of this was topped off with 3 exciting hours in the Olympic Stadium watching Team GB take a good handful of medals, including David Weir's T54 1500m gold.
I paid £30.00 for my ticket, but I'd pay triple that just to watch the Weirwolf strike again.

Inside the Olympic Stadium
If sports really doesn't take your fancy, it's still worth a trip to the Olympic Park. Where else can you experience buildings shaped like roller coasters, words written in drops of water and consume champagne and cupcakes next to a man dressed head to toe in a flag.

Alton Towers - this is your next ride.

Can you see the water words?
Tickets for a number of events are still available, including the closing ceremony and day passes - book now to avoid missing out on a fantastic experience.
