Is that the jingle of Santa's sleigh I hear? Indeed it is. Only it looks a little different than usual. Is it the colour? No. Is it the size? No. Perhaps it is the line of horses that have replaced his reindeer. That must be it.

Don't worry, Rudolph's not sick, he's just having the week off while Santa attends the London International Horse Show at Olympia. Taking place between the 16th - 22nd December, this annual event is the world's biggest equestrian Christmas party, featuring FEI World Cup™ competitions in Show Jumping, Dressage, Extreme Carriage Driving, and breathtaking performances.

Headline acts include the world famous Ukrainian Cossack Stunt Team and the magnificent Mounted Metropolitan Police in a fabulous Activity Ride. There will also be regulars such as
the Shetland Pony Grand National, Kennel Club Dog Agility, Alltech Christmas Puissance competition

Standard tickets are between £20 - £61, but there are lots of other options available, such as early access to the warm up sessions and a champagne reception. Also, if you are not interested in seeing the show, you can buy £10 entry to the shopping village. This vast area contains over two hundred and fifty shops not found on the high street, providing a whole host of unique gifts from equestrian to fashion to novelty items.
