2012 really is the year that London becomes the sporting capital of the world. There are the Olympics to look forward to this summer but it is the ever present sport of football that provides just as strong an attraction where sport in the capital is concerned. London has a large number of football teams, some good, others not so good, but they all have their own attributes and attractions.

Club: Arsenal FC
Stadium: The Emirates
Underground Line and station: Piccadilly Line and Arsenal Station
Attractions: The cheap stadium tour showcasing the top of the range facilities on show at London's newest Premier League ground and the chance to watch one of the best footballing teams in the country if you choose to visit on a match day. The tour prices range from 17.50 to 35 for adults and match day tickets from 50 upwards.

Club: Chelsea FC
Stadium: Stamford Bridge
Underground Line and station: The District Line and Fulham Broadway
Attractions: The stadium tour that will also showcase the recently acquired Champions League trophy as well as the F.A cup and League titles. A visit on a match day will enable you to see some of the worlds best players at one of the worlds richest clubs. Prices for the tour are 18 for adults and match day tickets range from 20 to 82.

Club: Tottenham Hotspurs FC.
Stadium: White Hart Lane
Underground Line and station: Victoria Line and White Hart Lane
Attractions: The tour gives you the chance to see the League Cup and F.A Cup whilst also having the opportunity to walk out of the players tunnel and sit in the same chair as the new manager in the press interview room. The prices for the tour range from 16-35.50 and match day ticket prices from 50 upwards.

Club: Fulham FC
Stadium: Craven Cottage
Underground Line and station: District Line and Putney Bridge
Attractions: The incredibly cheap tour will take you all of the way around the home of the oldest professional club in London, showcasing all of the facilities in this cosy ground. A day out to watch the Cottagers play means you will be watching of of the perennial overachievers of the Premier League. The price for the tour is 8 and match day prices range from 20-60.

And last but by no means least.

Club: West Ham United FC
Stadium: Upton Park (Boleyn Ground)
Underground Line and station: The District Line and Upton Park
Attractions: A tour around one of the most historic clubs in the country will provide you with the chance to learn about the history of the team that provided three key players in England's triumphant 1966 World Cup bid. A match at Upton Park under the floodlights is one of football folklore and is something that has to be done by every football fan. Price for the tour is 15 for adults and a match day ticket can cost anywhere between 5-60.

If you are in London, do visit all of these stadiums that represent the beautiful game so well. They are all well worth it.
